Malou Peppelman, Ph.D.

Malou Peppelman obtained a Ph.D in Medical Science at the Radboud University of Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Her thesis focused on in vivo reflectance confocal microscopy of the skin. This scientific work received the Albert Kligman Young Investigator Award at the World Congress of the International Society for Biophysics and Imaging of the Skin (ISBS) in 2014. Currently, she is working as postdoctoral researcher/technical physician in the Dermatology Department of the Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen. Her work focuses on the implementation of reflectance confocal microscopy in daily clinical dermatological practice. She has co-authored 18 scientific manuscripts in peer-reviewed international journals and presented her work at several national and international conferences.
