The Summer Pre-College program is looking for an adjunct faculty to teach a Cosmetic Science course, as part of the University’s Summer Pre-College Program for High School Students. Students will be taught about the basic concepts of the cosmetic industry, the science of cosmetic formulation and will then work on designing and formulating a simple cosmetic product of their own.
The Cosmetic Science class will be offered once this summer:
July 9-19, 2018
1:30 - 5:00 p.m.
Monday through Thursday
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or Cosmetic Science.
• 1-3 years experience in the Cosmetic industry.
• Experience with basic cosmetic formulation
Preferred:
• Experience with Cosmetic Marketing.
• Experience teaching High-School students.
