The research portfolio of the Computational Sciences Group (CSG) at KAUST's Visual Computing Center contains the accurate computer-based simulation of natural phenomena related to hair, nail, and skin.

In this regard, CSG's partners from cosmetics research and business are primarily interested in getting deeper insights into the underlying mechanisms of cosmetic treatments or in the optimization of their product formulations and virtual experiments for the efficient product evaluation as well as claim verifications and benefit demonstrations for advertising purposes.

CSG's work contains collaborative research projects and R&D projects with industry partners.
